BVSC
In March 2020 the Bega Valley Shire Council shared a series of interviews titled “Stories From The Bega Valley Bushfires.” Linda Visited the farm to talk about the support we received from our local community and the stimulus package offered by the government.
Women In Farming
For International Women’s Day 2020, Bega Valley Shire Library celebrated Women in Agriculture by publishing an online interview series titled “Women in Farming of the Bega Valley,” and displaying published banners in the shires 4 libraries. Jos was interview for the series and invited to be a speaker on a discussion panel featuring some exceptional local women farmers.
Stock & Land
In March 2020, as the Coronavirus pandemic reached Australian shores while our region was just starting the long road to recovery after a summer of bushfires, Bryce Eishold from the Stock & Land newspaper called to chat about the surge in awareness and support of local food as the supermarket shelves were left bare amidst panic buying.

In August 2020, Bega District News ran a storie soon after we began retailing in Woolworths.
BVE x NRL x Bundy
In 2020 we had the opportunity to team up with the NRL & Bundaberg Rum to tell our story about our post fire recovery, Tom’s role at the Bega Roosters RLFC and how much the Rugby League community means to us.

SBS Food x Spend With Us
Since the Black Summer bushfires, we’ve run a pay-it-forward initiative on Spend With Us - Buy From A Bush Business marketplace, where kind folk can purchase a box of eggs and we’ll pass them onto worthy recipients in our community. In December 2020, SBS Food published a story about supporting small & regional businesses this Christmas, and kindly featured our initiative in their article.
